Funny Leah and the Mask

Don't ask me where this mask came from because I really couldn't tell you. Don't ask me why it was out where Leah could get it because once again I really couldn't tell you. Usually I think of Leah as well...just Leah. Not really with it all that much but then something like this happens and it makes me laugh and realize that Leah is going to be so much fun to really get to know once we leave this life. I was doing the usual kitchen clean up or was I cooking??? Doesn't really matter suffice it to say I was in the kitchen when I started hearing what sounded like heavy breathing. Being the curious person that I am I turned just in time to see...

the Leah beast. Leah is a mouth breather and with the mask on her breathing sounded pretty funny. She was so proud of herself since I pretended to be really afraid. She chased me around for a little while laughing and holding her arms out. Gabe laughed when he saw her and then I sicced her on the girls which was pretty hysterical. She is so creative and how she came up with this idea makes me wonder what else is going on inside her silly head.

Since she is such an old lady now she was pretty beat after all the laughing and chasing, funny Leah. She passed out and yes that's a band-aid on her face. She's in one of her picking phases. So gross...

I'm a big wig now!

So the studio is relocating most of its legal staff over the next couple of months. My current space (which I've been in since I started a couple of years back) was in the Fred Astaire building. Small office, but nice and I've really enjoyed being on the lot. Well, the production staff on Spiderman 4 also likes our space, so I've been relocated. Problem is that they don't have a permanent space for me yet, which is kind of a pain, but has a silver lining. I got a massive office for the next month or two, which makes me feel like a real power player! I'm only able to attach a pic from my computer camera, but it gives you a little idea. Anyway, I'm not getting used to it, but for now I'm very special!

Joy School

Liam is enjoying joy school a lot...here is just a couple photos from his first day. Very serious in the second picture! He gets to learn about the alphabet & counting, does art projects, goes on field trips, has story time, and gets to play with some friends. Last week was my week to teach, and overall it went well. I ended up taking the kids on a field trip one day to a grocery store in town so that they could go on a tour of the bakery for the letter "B". They loved being able to see all the sweets, and I enjoyed getting to learn about the equipment & day to day schedule. Afterwards the kids got a cookie for a treat, yumm!
Liam is learning so much at this age, and I love watching him grow. I miss him so much while he is at school, but he enjoys it a lot, and I enjoy getting to listen to him tell me what he did.

Emma is also learning a lot right now...crawling, eating solids, and how to sit up all by herself. She is a funny little girl, and we love watching her grow.

Virtue Hike

Hi everyone! Well, I've been wanting to write something on here for a while, but I couldn't think of anything exciting. I completely forgot about this story. Mom(Louise) reminded me of the story, so I decided it was exciting enough. Ok well, here it goes... we were walk up to the temple for our YW's activity(Virtue walk). Grace, two of our friends, and I were run ahead to find a clue that Grace needed to find, when all of a sudden we head a rattle and hissing right next to us. We screamed ad run to the other side of the path. Probably not the smartest thing we could have done, but too late. there was a snake right next to me!!!!! Not only was it a snake it was a rattle snake. It was staring at us and hissing and rattling it's tail. By the time everyone else got up there It was slithering up the hill. It was scary, but I enjoy those moments were it make your heart race and you get that feeling in the pit of your stomach. Mom jokes about it and says that it is when the serpent crossed our path on our Virtue Hike. There will be a picture of it coming soon. The Virtue Hike was overall fun though. When we got to the temple we had lemon squares and a couple talk to us about marriage in the temple and how rewarding it is. Then we got to sign a Virtue Banner and write our own commitments on being virtuous. It was a lot of fun. Well I hope that was exciting enough to put on the blog, but if it isn't oh well. That's all for now. Bye.
