Jesse and I had our 2nd receptiong down in San Diego on June 20th! So on June 19th (my birthday) we went to Disneyland and had SUCH a fun day! We went to California adventures first, for like 4 hours! We went on so many fun rides like Tower of Terror, California soarin and the roller coaster (i forgot the name)! We were exhausted that night because we didn't get to Jesse's grandparents house until about 12 am. Well the next day was the reception from 2-4pm and it was held at his grandparents home, in their backyard! We didnt have a huge turnout because Jesse really didnt invite many people and either did I. But we both had fun and more people than we expected ended up coming. Which included Great Aunt Mildred and Great Uncle Jack Chase, as well as mom's cousin Karen Akagi (our 2nd cousin?) her husband Brian and kids! It was really nice to see them and catch up! :) After the reception Jesse and I rushed over to La Jolla to make the 8:00 pm session (the last one of the day). We made it! And it was BEAUTIFUL! :)

the Smells and Sounds of Summer
We had such a nice trip last last weekend and enjoyed seeing everyone. Besides Faith's wedding, of course, one of the hi lites was pulling out the sprinkler and enjoying all the lovely grass. As a yard-less family, I think we all really appreciate Grandma and Dee Dee's yard. The boys loved their first time playing with the sprinkler and hoses and Jack and Dee Dee went for a nice walk. Thanks for having us!

Thanks!!!
A big thanks to everyone that helped with Faith's wedding. She and Jesse are off in Hawaii right now. Everything went really well and Faith was soooo happy. She looked beautiful and the food and decorations and music were all perfect. Everyone was so helpful and that decorating took hours and hours. I had my doubts but it looked beautiful once the lights were dimmed. I'm climbing Half Dome on Saturday. I'll let you all know how that goes. Wish me luck...
I'll post pictures soon. I have to get the photos Anatole took of Gabe graduating up once I figure out which camera they are on. What a hectic week. Gabe turned in his Eagle Scout application and write up on Tuesday and he got the okay call from the district guy on Wednesday. He graduated high school on Thursday. Faith got married on Saturday. Gabe's birthday was Sunday and Melissa's birthday was Monday. Ian bought a couple of cakes and they celebrated together. It was great as usual to see everyone and once again thanks to all those that helped out. I'm just glad this next week all I have to look forward to is a simple stroll up Half Dome...like I said...wish me luck!!!!
